Nice to meet you. My name is Gerry Rubendall, Marketing Director for the Burleson Area Chamber of Commerce. I have a serious passion for creative guerilla marketing tactics and “beyond the box” thinking. I’m also a well-seasoned promotional consultant. This gives me a unique perspective when it comes to teaching smaller businesses how they can hold their own against the big guys.
I’m honored to be a recurring speaker at the Fort Worth Business Assistance Center (FWBAC), teaching topics such as: Create Your Brand, Develop Your Message, Get the Most from Tradeshows, and Marketing for Start-Ups. One of my greatest joys is looking out at a class I’m teaching and seeing the little lightbulbs start appearing over the heads of my students. I’m always looking for new speaking opportunities so if you know of a group that could benefit from the topics I teach, let me know.
I also volunteer as a marketing counselor at the FWBAC, helping new business owners avoid the mistakes I’ve seen so many people (including myself) make. I serve as President Elect for my primary local networking group (Professional Power Team in Fort Worth), and volunteer as the communications director for my local neighborhood association.
